Every client warned.
Every warning on the record.

Home Fraud Defense gives your office a documented fraud awareness program at no cost. Your agents send client fraud notices. Your brokerage gets a timestamped Protection Record every time a client is warned.

  • Free base tier. Free agent seats. No per-agent fees, ever.
  • Agents send fraud notices at transaction start and after closing — both logged to your brokerage record.
  • Your panel shows notice activity across every agent in the office.
  • Your agents can send their first client notice today. Setup takes about five minutes.

Base tier is free permanently. We never contact your agents without your approval.

Why brokers are moving on this now

The numbers are moving in the wrong direction.

Fraud losses in residential real estate keep climbing. Client-level awareness is the missing layer, and your office can be the one that provides it.

Keeping up with real estate fraud is our job. Your agents send it in two minutes.

Home Fraud Defense is your office's fraud education partner. We follow the schemes targeting real estate transactions nationwide, wire redirection, seller and buyer impersonation, deed and title fraud, and the ones that arrive after closing. Then we turn them into client material your agents send under their own names, and we update it when something new shows up. Nobody in your office has to track it, and nobody has to build it. Free for every agent on your roster, in every state.

We do the tracking

New schemes get written up and go out as dated fraud alerts to every agent on your roster, with what it looks like and what to tell a client.

Your agents send it, co-branded

The Fraud Awareness Notice at the start of the transaction, Post-Closing Awareness after the keys change hands, both carrying the agent's name and your brokerage.

You see it happening

The free broker panel shows office totals: how many notices went out and how many clients opened them. Named per-agent activity, inactive agent reports, and a fraud policy template come with Pro.

Fraud notices and post-closing alerts

Every client warned. Every notice logged.

Agents send two documented notices: one at transaction start, one after closing. Both are timestamped, attributed to the agent, and retained in your brokerage's Protection Record.

  1. 1
Fraud awareness notice, at transaction start

The agent sends a plain-language warning covering wire fraud, deed and title fraud, seller impersonation, spoofing, and text and QR scams. One tap from any active transaction.

  2. 2
Post-closing alert, after the deal closes

Buyer and seller versions covering what targets new owners and sellers once the sale becomes public record.

  3. 3
The client receives it and acknowledges

A plain-language message written for the client, with a one-click acknowledgment so both sides know it was read.

  4. 4
    Your brokerage gets the record

A timestamped Protection Record is written to your office's log for each notice sent, including which version of the content went out. Records cannot be edited or deleted, and they stay with your brokerage even if the agent leaves.

If a client is ever targeted, your office holds documentation that the warning was delivered — at which stage, by whom, and when.

What your agents get

Four client protection tools. Free on every seat.

Your agents use these on live transactions. You see the activity in your broker panel.

01

Fraud awareness notice

One-tap client warning at transaction start, co-branded to the agent, with a Protection Record logged to your office.

02

Post-closing alert

Buyer and seller versions covering what targets a client once the sale hits public record. Logged the same way.

03

Monthly fraud alerts

A short bulletin on the schemes running right now, written for working agents. Content is drawn from law enforcement feeds, fraud intelligence networks, and real estate industry events — updated as new patterns emerge, not on a fixed academic schedule.

04

Incident report

One tap for an agent to flag a suspected fraud to you. Logged and timestamped so you hear about it before it surfaces in a claim.

The defense file

One click produces a single document containing every notice sent, every client acknowledgment, every timestamp, and which version of the notice went out — for one agent or one transaction.

This is what your counsel asks for on the worst day. Today, at nearly every brokerage in the country, the answer is whatever anyone remembers.

Straight answers

What HFD is, and what it is not.

HFD is
  • A documented fraud awareness program available to every licensed brokerage in the country
  • A set of client-facing notices that help agents warn clients at the right moments
  • A record system showing what your office told clients, and when
  • An active intelligence partner — we monitor law enforcement feeds, fraud intelligence networks, and real estate industry events so the notices your agents send reflect what is targeting transactions today, not what was circulating when a course was written two years ago
HFD is not
  • A guarantee against fraud, or insurance of any kind
  • A verifier of record on any wire transfer
  • A substitute for title insurance, E&O coverage, or legal advice
  • A decision-maker — our tools describe what they observe; your clients decide and you advise
Common questions

Broker questions, answered plainly.

Does this create liability for my brokerage?
No. Nothing here changes your supervisory obligations or creates a new duty. What changes is that when a question comes up later, your office has documentation instead of recollection.
What does the free tier cost my brokerage?
Nothing, permanently. Unlimited agent seats, no per-seat fee, no credit card, no expiration. Pro is optional and plenty of brokerages never upgrade.
Do my agents have to buy anything?
No. Every client protection tool is free to every licensed agent. The HFDCP™ credential is optional at $99 a year if an agent wants the course and the designation. Pro brokerages can cover agent seats at $25 each.
What happens to Protection Records if an agent leaves?
The records stay with your brokerage. They cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including us.
Is HFD only for Arizona brokerages?
No. The fraud notices, post-closing alerts, Protection Record, and broker panel work in every state. Continuing education credit for the optional agent HFDCP™ course is currently approved in select states, with additional state approvals in progress.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes for you, and about two minutes per agent. Send your roster the signup link and agents can send their first client notice the same day. Nothing to install or integrate.
Can you see or contact my agents?
We never contact your agents without your approval. Agents who paid for their own credential control whether their named activity appears in your panel. Seats your brokerage provides are visible to you by default.
What happens if we cancel Pro?
You drop to the free panel and your agents keep everything. Export your brokerage records first if you want them.
