Is Home Fraud Defense a government agency?
No. Home Fraud Defense is an independent fraud education school. ADRE approval refers to approval of the school and its courses and does not constitute endorsement of any product, service, or outcome.
Are the homeowner tools really free?
Yes. The consumer resources are free and ungated, with no account, no email requirement, and no advertising, so a professional can share them without turning a fraud warning into a sales pitch.
Can the program be licensed to a whole brokerage or association?
Yes. Firm-wide licensing, member-benefit arrangements and insurance-program agreements are the main ways this is bought. Individual agent enrollment is also available.
Do your tools confirm that a wire, a person, or a transaction is legitimate?
No. The tools describe what they find and point to next steps. They do not clear, approve, or confirm any party, instruction, or transaction, and they are not a substitute for calling a known number.
Do you offer your services nationwide?
Yes. The consumer resources cover all 50 states, and the alerts, client notices and coursework are used by professionals across the country. Continuing education approval is granted state by state, so tell us where your licensees are and we will tell you exactly what applies in that state.
What is HFDCP?
