Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026

1. HFDCP™ Designation — 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

The HFDCP™ Designation ($99/year subscription) is covered by a 60-day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you complete the course and are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 60 days of your purchase date and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Upon refund, your HFDCP™ designation, directory listing, platform access, and all associated use rights will be revoked.

2. Annual Renewals & Cancellation

The Designation renews automatically at $99/year. You may cancel at any time through your account portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing immediately. Renewal charges already processed outside the 60-day guarantee window are non-refundable — there are no partial-period refunds. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.

3. Legacy Tiers (No Longer Sold)

Legacy purchases made under prior pricing (including the retired pay-in-full Designation, Instructor, and monthly plans) remain subject to the same refund terms as the Designation:

  • Pay-in-full purchases: 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Contact us within 60 days for a full refund. Instructor authorization, branded materials, and directory listing will be revoked upon refund.
  • Monthly plan: Cancel anytime; no refunds for billing periods already processed.

4. What Is Not Refundable

  • Monthly subscription charges for periods already processed
  • Pay-in-full purchases requested after the 60-day guarantee window has passed
  • Purchases where the designation has been used to market services, present CE classes, or issue certificates to third parties
  • Platform screening credits consumed prior to the refund request

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 60-day window, email us at info@homefrauddefense.org with the subject line "Refund Request — HFDCP" and include:

  • The email address used at enrollment
  • Your purchase date or order confirmation number
  • A brief description of your reason (optional — we don't require one)

We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email when the refund has been issued.

6. Designation Revocation

Issuing a refund constitutes termination of the enrollment agreement. Upon refund, Home Fraud Defense™ will:

  • Remove the individual's listing from the national HFDCP™ directory
  • Revoke access to the HFD Fraud Scan professional platform
  • Invalidate any HFDCP™ certificate issued for that enrollment
  • Revoke instructor authorization (Instructor tier only)

You may re-enroll at any time at the then-current price. Prior CE completion credits are not transferable to a new enrollment.
