What does the free tier actually cost my brokerage?
Nothing, permanently. Brokers are how HFD reaches agents and their clients, so the base tier and all agent seats are free. Revenue comes from optional Pro features and professional certification, not from your office's participation.
Do my agents have to buy anything?
No. Agents never need to make a purchase. Their seats are free, the six tools are free, and the Fraud Awareness Notice is free to send on every transaction.
What happens to Protection Records if an agent leaves?
Records belong to the brokerage, not the agent. The log is append-only, so records cannot be edited or deleted, and they remain in your office's history after an agent departs.
Does this create liability for my brokerage?
HFD is built the other way. The tools inform, clients decide, and the notices are educational. The Protection Record exists to document that a warning was delivered, which is the position a brokerage wants to be in if fraud ever touches a transaction. HFD is not insurance and does not replace legal advice.
Is HFD only for Arizona brokerages?
No. HFD was founded in Arizona and holds its education credentials there, including approval as a real estate school by the Arizona Department of Real Estate and a listing on azre.gov. The tools, the Fraud Awareness Notice, and the Protection Record work the same way for brokerages in every state, and deed fraud, seller impersonation, and wire fraud are national problems tracked by the FBI across all states.
